Official summary

Certain Tucson Hybrid (NX4 HEV), Tucson Plug-in Hybrid (NX4 PHEV), Tucson (NX4), and Tucson (NX4M) vehicles may exhibit a Data Communication Unit (DCU) software error due to the internal timer initialization logic not being implemented. The DCU module may shut down telematics services after one year. Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) 25-01-057H-1, 25-01-059H-1 & 25-01-060H-1 provide instructions to perform a software update for the DCU module. Over-the-Air (OTA): This update can also be conducted via OTA. The customer can complete on his/her own if he/she has an active subscription to Hyundai

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
