Official summary
Some 2025 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may exhibit diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P161D in the powertrain control module (PCM) when a diagnostic self-test is performed. If there are no observable customer symptoms with the vehicle, no further action is required. Replacement and/or programming of the PCM will not resolve this condition. If there is an observable symptom, follow normal Workshop Manual diagnostics.
