Official summary
Some 2025 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may exhibit diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1557:31 in the rear gate trunk module (RGTM) when a diagnostic self-test is performed. If no other symptoms, DTCs or conditions are identified, no further action is required. Replacement and/or reprogramming of the RGTM will not resolve this condition.
