Official summary
Certain 2026MY IONIQ 9 (ME1A EV) vehicles may have DTC C138201 (Lever Hall Sensor Fault) set in the Electronic Shift Control System which could prevent the vehicle from being shifted out of the “Park” position. This system is also known as Shift-by-Wire Shift Control Unit (SBWSCU). Follow the procedure in this TSB to update the Shift-by-Wire (SBW) software logic.
