Official summary
Certain 2025MY Tucson (NX4A) vehicles equipped with a fingerprint reader may experience a “Check User Authentication” error message on the instrument cluster display. When the message appears, it may prevent usage of the Fingerprint Module (FPM). The DTC captured for this concern is “B18CC00 - IAU Teaching Error (w/FPM).” This bulletin provides instructions to perform a software update for the Fingerprint Module (FPM).
