This Preliminary information communicates there could be an electrical connection concerns at the high pressure fuel pump, and may set any combnation of diagnostic trouble codes, P0089 P0090 P00C6 P163A and / or P228C. The technician should inspect the terminals and manipulate the harness to see if any of the codes can be duplicated. Replace or repair connector or terminals as needed.
