Mazda Motor Corporation has decided to conduct a Special Service Program (SSP) on certain 2016 CX-5 vehicles built from November 1, 2014 through May 13, 2016. If you are a recipient of this notice, your vehicle is included in Special Service Program (SSP) A6. What is the problem? Certain 2016 CX-5 vehicles were evaluated under NHTSA’s new frontal oblique crash test, and the evaluation revealed that the fabric of the passenger frontal air bag may be torn during deployment of the air bag.
