"Liftgate Will Not Properly Open Or Close Customers must experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination and the vehicle must exhibit/set one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs): ● B197B-29 - Ratchet fork switch- signal invalid. ● B197C-29 - Pawl detent swich signal invalid. Customers may also experience the following: ● Liftgate will not properly open or close. ● Possible 'Liftgate Open' warning light on. ● Possible 'Liftgate Open' chime sound This bulletin involves installing a spacer below the liftgate striker."
