"Engine Complete With scope to reduce cost per repair, Stellantis Engineering ask to use long block instead of engine complete replacement for GME T4 DOHC. Before to replace Long Block Engineering is asking to follow these checks for an overheating suspect diagnosis: 1) BLOC-CHECK-KIT (BLOCK TESTER or CO2 Tester) 2) CYLINDER LEAKAGE TEST 3) COOLING SYSTEM LEAKS -INTERNAL ENGINE LEAKAGE INSPECTION If no one of this checks (1-2-3) fails it does not need to replace long block ( even less full engine) but just the component causing the coolant leak."
