3.5" speaker assembly Before replacing a speaker part for crackles or rattling noises make sure to take the following steps: 1. Check for electrical harness routing too close to speaker's rear moving parts, improper connection, and/or harness pinch or damage. 2. Ensure no loose components, including trim grilles, fasteners, surrounding IP parts, etc. were found when removing the speaker. 3. Try "bad" speaker at another IP location and see if noise follows speaker. Try a different "good" speaker at "bad speaker location" and see if noise still happens at "bad" location. 4.
