Official summary
Some 2024 Ranger vehicles may exhibit a hood that requires extra effort to engage the primary latch when closing the hood. This may be due to the misalignment of the latch assembly to the hood striker. This condition does not affect the secondary latch operation and the hood will remain secured. To correct this concern, follow the Service Procedure to adjust the latch and adjust the bump stop rubbers.
