Official summary
The subject vehicles are equipped with a straight-type shift lever, including a Brake (B) shift position. If the driver shifts rapidly from Park/Reverse/Neutral directly to the B position and starts driving, the Brake Electronic Control Unit (ECU) may continue to recognize the previous shift position and not the B shift position.
