Official summary

This article supersedes TSB 24-2094 to update the production fix date and causal part. Some 2023 Mustang Mach-E vehicles built on 26-Jun-2023 and through 21-Nov-2023 may exhibit an exterior blue charge status indicator segments flashing and high voltage battery continues to charge after preset charge target percentage has been met while using level 1 or level 2 charger. This may be due to the software in the secondary on-board diagnostic control module C (SOBDMC). To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the SOBDMC.

Vehicles covered

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
