Official summary
Some 2023-2024 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a perimeter alarm and built on or before 27-Mar-2024 may exhibit a false alarm activation intermittently. This may be due to the software in the body control module (BCM). Monitor the BCM alarm event parameter identifications (PID). If ALARM_EVT_1/2/3/4 show a value of Intrusion Sensor, reprogram the BCM using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) diagnostic scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 15604 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
