Official summary
Some 2022 F-Super Duty vehicles built on or after 01-Oct-2022 may exhibit the power running boards settings intermittently changing from AUTO to OFF without any driver input. This may be due to the software in the running board control module (RBM). To correct the condition, reprogram the RBM using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). For claiming, use causal part 14C177 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
