Official summary
Some 2022-2024 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with only diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U3012 stored in the PCM. If no drivability concerns or other DTCs are present, perform normal diagnostics per the Workshop Manual (WSM). If diagnostics lead to the powertrain control module (PCM) or body control module (BCM), the replacement of the PCM and/or the BCM will not resolve this concern. This illuminated MIL with DTC U3012 does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condi
