This article supersedes 23-2266 to update the vehicle model years affected to include 2024 model year. Some 2022-2024 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may exhibit a random BLIS warning with no vehicle or objects near the vehicle. This condition may be intermittent, more noticeable in wet conditions. Diagnostic trouble codes B13F3:97 in the side obstacle detection control module - left (SODL) and/or B13F4:97 in the side obstacle detection control module - right (SODR) and/or U0233 and U0232 in the image processing module A (IPMA) may also be present.
