Official summary
Some 2021-2023 Bronco vehicles built on or before 28-Feb-2023 may exhibit water entry into the rear trunk. This may be due to a lack of body seam sealer at the floor panel to trunk sheet metal joint. This repair procedure addresses water entry from underneath of the vehicle into the rear trunk area (jack storage compartment). This article does not apply if water is entering the vehicle from above the rear trunk area (such as from the roof, rear window etc.). To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to apply seam sealer to the forward trunk to floor panel sheet metal joint.
