Official summary
Some 2023 Escape vehicles may exhibit a Front Camera Fault and/or Pre-Collision Assist Fault message displayed in the instrumental panel cluster (IPC) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) C1001:78 and U2107:68 stored in the image processing module-A (IPMA) when the vehicle is driven on uneven roads. This may be due to the software installed in the IPMA. To correct this condition, reprogram the IPMA using the latest software version of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool and perform the appropriate IPMA alignment procedure.
