Official summary
Some 2021-2023 Mustang Mach-E vehicles may exhibit a condition where the high voltage battery stops charging when connected to level 1 or level 2 chargers with an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) and diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P2C94 stored in the secondary on-board diagnostic control module A (SOBDM). This may be due to the software in the SOBDM. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM).
What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
