Official summary
Some 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning vehicles may exhibit an inoperative heated steering wheel after a preconditioned start up and/or diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B112B:49 stored in the steering column control module (SCCM). This may be due to the software level of the SCCM. To correct this condition, reprogram the SCCM using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) located under the SW Updates tab. For claiming, use causal part 3F791 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
