Some 2024 Mustang vehicles may exhibit a Pre-Collision Assist Not Available message and a Pre-Collision Assist Not Available indicator displayed in the IPC with DTC U023A stored in the steering column control module (SCCM) after the vehicle is remote started. The message and indicator should go away and normal operation of the pre-collision system should resume once the vehicle is shut down and then restarted using the push button start.
