This bulletin provides information on replacement of the Active Air Flap (AAF) actuator on 2022MY Ioniq 5 (NE1) vehicles that may exhibit AAF warning signs and DTC U028400 while driving. The AAF may not open or close when the DTC U028400 is active due to unstable power supply to the actuator. Follow the procedure in this bulletin to replace the AAF actuator and erase the DTC code.
