Dealer Message - Affected vehicles may be equipped with an incorrectly machined engine block at the crankshaft position sensor (CKP) mounting location. Improper manufacturing of the engine block at this location may prevent accurate CKP measurements leading to misfire and potential catalyst deterioration. This condition may affect a vehicleâ s compliance with California and Federal emissions standards and regulations.
