Official summary
Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles may set diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1578:89 in the image processing module A (IPMA) when a diagnostic self-test is performed. This may be due to an internal communication error to the IPMA. Replacement or reprogramming of the IPMA will not resolve this condition. B1578:89 should be ignored if: no other DTCs are present in the IPMA, the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) is not illuminated while the engine is running, and no drivability concerns are present. No further service action is required.
