Official summary

Some 2020-2022 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 7.3L engine may exhibit a ticking/clicking/tapping noise at idle that is loudest at the front of the engine where the front timing cover meets the oil pan. This may be due to a cracked oil pump drive gear. If the noise originates from the lower front of the engine, remove the accessory drive belt and retest. If the noise is still present, remove the oil pan and rotate the crankshaft 360 degrees to inspect for cracking. If cracked, replace the oil pump drive gear (LC3Z-6306-A).

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
