The customer may experience a message in the instrument cluster that comes on briefly while driving, typically during a throttle tip-out/tip-in maneuver. The message states "Performance Limited Perform Fuel System Maintenance" and typically displays for only a few seconds. The message may or may not be accompanied by a Mil-On condition and there are usually no noticeable driveability symptoms.
