Official summary

Rivian is initiating a customer satisfaction campaign for some model year 2022 R1T vehicles which may have been built with a body control module (BCM) that was incorrectly assembled by the supplier. An incorrectly assembled BCM may cease functioning, which would cause an affected vehicle to enter a reduced performance safe state mode and a "Limited Performance Mode" indicator light will illuminate on the driver display. Although this condition has only been observed in one customer vehicle, it is possible that an affected vehicle could lose all exterior lighting and all electronic door locking

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
