Official summary
This bulletin provides information related to a Modular Clutch Actuator (MCA) compliance software update for P17D249, a permanent DTC that cannot be cleared with the CARB drive cycle. The software update allows the MCA to send the appropriate diagnostics status to the Hybrid Power Control Unit (HPCU) so the DTC can be cleared when the CARB drive cycle has been met. Certain vehicles may experience a check engine light.
