Official summary
Driver Airbag with Module Damper Model year 2022 Jeep Compass, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer all utilize next generation Driver Airbag (DAB) and steering wheel systems. These new systems use the mass of the DAB as a damper to reduce steering wheel vibration experienced by the driver. The DAB is still securely attached to the steering wheel but now has specially tuned isolators to allow a small amount of damping movement of the DAB. A driver of these vehicles may, at times, notice this movement or vibration of the DAB within the steering wheel
