Official summary
Pinion Bearing Customer complaint of growling/groaning/grinding noise (not whine) from rear axle. Inspect pinion bearings for spalling. If spalling is found, replace the axle assembly without removing bearing cup from the housing. Please contact Ashley Gerebics at cell: (248) 472-6524 to arrange fast tracking of the axle to FCA. If no response in 15 minutes, proceed with repair.
