Official summary
Rivian is initiating a customer satisfaction campaign for some model year 2022 R1T vehicles that may have been built with older firmware. If the vehicle has not been updated, the user may experience impaired vehicle access when using key cards or wrist bands. If there is a loss of key card and wrist band function, the vehicle can still be unlocked, accessed, and activated through other means, including the Rivian provided key fob, phone app, or remote unlock from Rivian Service. Rivian will perform a 12V reset and update the vehicle firmware to correct this issue. Rivian is launching this camp

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
