Manual Park Release Cable If customer comes into the dealership with their vehicle unable to shift into Park (P), and dealer root causes issue to the MPR cable (manual park release) Condition - rotary shifter is shifted into Park, but the vehicle is physically not in Park. Customer may experience, flashing PRNDL or cluster message (unable to shift to park). There's an auto park feature, EVIC messaging, door chime, and the EPB will activate when the door is open if the transmission is not in park.
