We are currently investigating this clip issue and have noticed that most of the claims are on vehicles with the walk-away auto-locking feature. Customers may be pulling on the fuel filler lid without knowing that it's locked and accidentally break the clip. The item is currently under investigation. To fix the issue, replace the clip
