Official summary
Some 2020-2021 Escape vehicles may encounter the instrument panel cluster (IPC) odometer/trip computer changing from metric to imperial and/or the power liftgate enable/disable menu in the center stack display greyed out and/or FordPass Electrical System Fault message with DTC U0594 stored in the IPC. This may be due to the software in the IPC. To correct the condition, reprogram the IPC to the latest software level using Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). For claiming, use causal part 10849 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
