Official summary

Some 2021 Mustang Mach-E vehicles built on or before 15-Sep-2021 may exhibit a clicking type noise from the front drive area on hard left or right turns. This may be due to an internal halfshaft issue. To correct the condition, replace the appropriate front halfshaft. For replacement, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 205-04 Front Drive Halfshaft, Removal and Installation. For claiming, use casual part 3B436 (for right side halfshaft or both sides) or 3B437 (left side halfshaft only) and the applicable labor operations of Section 03 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

Vehicles covered

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
