Official summary
Some 2021-2022 Bronco Sports may exhibit a no key detected message displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). Reference the Owner s Manual 2nd printing on page 150, and advise the customer to put the key in the middle of the tray at the forward position of the center console (back up location). This spot will allow interference free communication between the key and the vehicle's radio transceiver module (RTM) due to closer proximity of the two components. This is necessary as a result of the passive key frequencies becoming jammed or a low key battery.
