Official summary
When replacing the 6006 long block engine assembly in 2021 F150 vehicles equipped with a 2.7L or 3.5L EcoBoost or 3.5L PowerBoost with a vehicle build date on or after 19-July-2021 and 2021 Expedition/Navigator vehicles equipped with a 3.5L EcoBoost with a vehicle build date on or after 10-Feb-2021, the turbocharger bypass valve (9U465) and adapter (9V456) must also be replaced. For turbocharger bypass valve and adapter replacement procedures, refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-14.
