Official summary
Some 2021 Bronco Sport vehicles may exhibit a hiss or rattle noise while driving. This may be due to an internal issue with the manual park release cable. Disconnect the cable from the transmission and road-test the vehicle. If the noise is eliminated, reconnect the cable and inform customers that Ford is working on a resolution scheduled for the end of August 2021. In the interim, let the customer know that the vehicle is safe to drive, and schedule a follow-up appointment with the customer for late August.
