Official summary

SERVICE INFORMATION When in "Extended Storage Mode" the applied vehicles can set DTCs U0100 and P1705, if the ignition switch is left in the accessory position for longer than 2 seconds. NOTE: These DTCs can reoccur every time the above conditions are met. These DTCs can occur due to the "Extended Storage Switch" (ESS), in the interior fuse panel, being pulled out (Storage Mode active) and those related systems being temporarily without power. If these DTCs occur due to the above condition, it does not indicate that there is anything wrong with the vehicle. See this bulletin for further detail

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
