Official summary
Some 2020-2021 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine or a 7.3L gas engine and dual alternators may require disabling or enabling the use of the second alternator. The FDRS scan tool now has an application available to allow for disabling or enabling the use of the second alternator. Start a vehicle session in FDRS using the vehicles VIN and go to the toolbox tab. The PCM will have an application called Generator Configuration. Download and run this application to enable or disable the second alternator. Next perform a Battery Monitor System (BMS) Reset. Download and run this
