TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN: DOOR LATCH REPLACEMENT - This bulletin provides information regarding the replacement of Front and/or Rear Door Latches associated with the Warranty Extension Program (WTY020) on some 2017MY Sportage (QL) vehicles produced from December 10, 2015 through December 15, 2016. Over time and extended use, the door latches may not function properly, and the doors may not open when the outside handle is pulled. (The doors can be opened by pulling any inside handle, provided the rear door child safety locks are not engaged.)
