Official summary
Mazda is incorporating a "Direct" type TPMS, which is unlike the previous "Indirect" type system. With the "Direct" type TPMS........ ? there is no TPMS switch on the dashboard. It is no longer needed. ? the wheel sensors activate after detecting tire rotation. ? the wheel sensors transmit data to the vehicle at a rate of once per minute. ? the vehicle must be driven at 16 mph or more for two (2) minutes or more to obtain IDS readings. ? it is necessary to complete the diagnosis before turning the ignition OFF, otherwise, the data will be deleted.
