Official summary
Some 2020 Mustang vehicles may exhibit a Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) parameter reset or key programming error stating General Error. This may be due to a concern with previous Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) software. Use the latest software level of the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool to complete the parameter reset.
