Official summary

Mercedes-Benz AG ("MBAG"), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz, has determined that the active engine mounts in certain C-Class (model series 205), E-Class (model series 213), GLC (model series 253), and AMG GT (model series 290) vehicles cannot be energized after a failure of the acceleration sensors. As a result, noises from the rear axle differential would be noticeable. This is why a software update of the AMG drive unit control unit must be performed in the affected vehicles. The work required for this purpose can be found in the attached work description.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
