This TSB provides a field fix procedure to address false MIL illumination with DTC P0300 (Random/multiple cylinder misfire detected) stored in the ECM under the following conditions: 1. During cold engine start, rough or partial clutch operation (manual transmission only) may cause powertrain vibration similar to a misfire and cause false MIL illumination. 2. At high engine speeds with low load condition, a CVT downshift can cause powertrain vibration similar to a misfire and cause false MIL illumination. 3.
