Official summary
2020 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 10R140 automatic transmission at times may exhibit a normal skip shift upshifting and downshifting strategy. Typical examples are 1-3 or 3-5 upshift or a 6-4 coasting downshift. This is a normal characteristic and no repairs should be attempted for this condition. For more detailed information about the 10R140 skip gear shift strategy refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-01 > Diagnosis and Testing.
