Official summary
During cold engine start, rough or partial clutch operation may cause powertrain vibration similar to misfire conditions and cause false MIL illumination. New software revises improper Misfire Monitoring (P0300) threshold values to prevent these problems. This TSB provides a field fix procedure to address false MIL illumination with DTC P0300 (Random/multiple cylinder misfire detected) stored in the ECM.
