Official summary
GROANING OR RATTLING NOISE COMING FROM FRONT OF TRUNK AREA. A groaning or rattling noise can be heard coming from the rear window acoustic seal area where the seal meets the trunk lid. The noise can be heard while driving on rough roads especially when the trunk space has been expanded by lowering the rear seat backrests. The affected seal runs along the bottom of the rear glass as indicated below. The trunk lid rubs against the seal and causes a noise when there is any movement.
