Some 2012-2016 Focus Electric vehicles may abort the battery energy control module (BECM) on demand self-test but pass the network test. This is the result of a module software limitation and does not indicate an issue is present in the BECM. If the vehicle has the stop safely now message and no other observable symptoms are present, continue with normal diagnostics.
